Rikiskaup, on behalf of the Icelandic Directorate of Health requests participants in a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for vaccines in various ATC drug categories.
ATC categories may be added if new vaccines are authorised or changes are made to the vaccination program, but the DPS includes at least the following vaccine categories:
J07CA06, J07CA09, J07CA02, J07AJ52, J07AL02, J07AL52, J07AH07, J07AH08, J07AH03, J07AG53, J07BD52, J07BD54, J07BK01, J07BM02, J07BM03 and J07BB02
Rikiskaup, on behalf of the Directorate of Health for the Ministry of Health, requests participants in a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for vaccines in various ATC drug categories.
ATC categories are used to specify the type(s) of vaccines to be tendered in each closed tender in the DPS. Categories can be added if new vaccines arrive on the market or changes are made to the vaccination program, but it covers at least the following vaccine categories:
J07CA06 og J07CA09 (vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Haemophilus influenzae B and poliomyelitis, with or without hepatitis B)
J07CA02 (vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio)
J07AJ52 (vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis)
J07AL02 og J07AL52 (bacterial/pneumococcal pneumonia vaccine)
J07AH07, J07AH08, J07AH03, J07AG53 (meningococcal type C vaccine with or without other antigens)
J07BD52 og J07BD54 (vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella, with or without chicken pox)
J07BK01 (chicken pox vaccine)
J07BM02 og J07BM03 (vaccine against papillomaviruses)
J07BB02 (influenza vaccine for annual influenza vaccinations)
Offered vaccines must have a marketing license in Iceland at the time of delivery.
The recommendation for use in the marketing license does not determine how the vaccine will be used in general vaccinations in this country, but the Directorate of Health will make a professional assessment of the proposed vaccines that will be considered and determine the use of the vaccines in this country.
It will be permitted to bid in all or individual ATC drug categories of closed tenders. The buyer reserves the right to negotiate with one or more vaccine manufacturers for each vaccine category. The buyer reserves the right to purchase, due to special circumstances, up to 10% of the used amount of vaccine outside the contract. The right to reject all offers for a specific section if the vaccine turns out to be much more expensive than the budget allows is also reserved.
