Secure Ecosystems Support to EU Defence and Space Policies
The subject of this call for tenders is setting up a framework contract (‘FwC’) to support defence- and aerospace-related actions of the Commission. This call for tenders is divided into two lots:
— lot 1 called ‘Sourcing and management of coaching services’ focuses on support to start-ups and SMEs in the European Defence Fund;
— lot 2 called ‘Research, evaluation and analysis related services’ focuses on the provision of research, evaluation and analysis-related services in the area of aerospace and defence (ASD) ecosystem.

A key aspect of the DG DEFIS mission is to ensure the proper articulation of the strategic objectives for the ASD ecosystem and the quick implementation of the means to achieve these objectives in the most cost-efficient way. A robust analytics and solid grounding in the defence and aerospace realms are wanted to address this key aspect and to sustain a continuous knowledge-based decision-making on the ASD ecosystem at the Commission level in general, and at the DG DEFIS level in particular.
To this end, the Commission is seeking to outsource the provision of research, evaluation and analysis related services.
