This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect during your visit to our website and how we process and use this data.



1. Personal data is processed by BIMWORX GmbH with the authorised representative Emanuel Homann, who can be contacted at info@bimworx.net
2. When you open our website www.bimworx.net the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website and stores it there temporarily in a so-called log file until it is automatically deleted. The data concerned are as follows:
  • your IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Amount of data transferred in each case
  • Access status/http status code
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

We process the data mentioned above for the following purposes:

  • To ensure a smooth connection of the website
  • Guarantee of a comfortable use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the above listed purposes for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. Furthermore, we use cookies when you visit our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk and assigned to the browser you are using and through which we receive certain information in connection with the specific terminal device used. This does not mean, however, that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity. Cookies do not cause any damage on your terminal device, they cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you log out or close the browser.

3. You have the right:
  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO
  • in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, to demand the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us
  • to demand the deletion of your personal data stored with us in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims
  • pursuant to Art. 18 DSGVO, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as
    1. 1. the correctness of the data is disputed by you,
    2. 2. the processing is unlawful, but you object to its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or
    3. 3. You have lodged an objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO
  • in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided us with in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request its transfer to another responsible party
  • in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO to revoke your once given consent to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the processing of your data in the future if it was based on this consent.
  • complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at our headquarters
  • to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that your personal data are processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f DSGVO and the objection is directed against direct marketing or there are reasons for the objection arising from your particular situation or. If you wish to make use of your right of revocation or objection, simply send an e-mail to privacy@bimworx.net
4. According to Art. 6 Para. 1 UAbs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, registration on our portal enables data processing with the consent of the website users. Personal data are here: Name; first name; e-mail, date of birth (optional), street (optional) which, should the business relationship be terminated, will be deleted after 6 months at the latest.
5. We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. The same applies to our hosting partner (Profihost). Your data is, of course, located exclusively in German computer centres.
6. Our newsletter system is maintained by an external provider (CleverReach). When you unsubscribe from the newsletter service, all personal data related to the procedure are deleted directly.
7. This data protection declaration is currently valid and has the status of July 2020. Due to the further development of our website and offers above or due to changed legal or official requirements it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration. The current data protection declaration can be called up and printed out at any time on this page.
